Happy Canada Day!

Hello everyone!  Welcome to a
special edition of this blog.  Why special you may ask?  Well, because it is Canada Day!  July 1st 2004.  A day that is dedicated to the day Canada became a country and is celebrated by almost every citizen of Canada.

For all you American types let me give you the low down
on what it is exactly.  This is a holiday that we all get off.  No work for me (yay).  There are fireworks and people wear Canadian colored stuff.  It is all a good time.  This year is especially special.
Because the Olympics are coming up.

My plans for today are pretty exciting... I will be going to the beach with my friends Alenka and Carrie for the afternoon.  Later in the evening I will be going to meet up with a friend in my Wingham Ontario where we will watch fireworks.  The perfect
Canada Day in my book :D

So, happy Canada day to you all.  *waves*
