The Great Black Out of 2003-August 14th

Well It has been officially ONE year since the LARGE scale black out that took most of Ontario... Some of Michigan, Ohio, New York.

At first there were a lot of speculation to what was the cause.... Some of them were... New York blamed Toronto... somehtign blew up at the falls... and finally the real cause WAS Ohio. One of their generators exploded and sended out a serge. All the powerstations and such are connected like a web, thus the serge traveled from station to station... causeing them all to break down.

When this happened I was at work (Goderich "Fucking" Plastics) and all the sudden the lights dimed and then went out totally. The black-out lasted from 4:30 p.m. to 11:45 pm. And even there we were told to be VERY careful... We were living on One generator... all the other 6 were none operational. The farther near Bruce Nuclear you were the faster you had your power back.
